Read the current issuer settings
Step 2 of 6 in Set up the credential issuer.
Start with the metadata settings: they hold the issuer identifier and the display a wallet shows.
Read the other settings areas before changing anything. Each is a separate resource with its own update, so reading them together gives you the full picture of how the issuer behaves today.
The credential-defaults response carries effective values with a source marker per field: issuer
for a default set at this issuer, default for the platform default. That marker is how you tell an
explicit choice from an inherited one.
In the Admin Console these are the tabs under Protocols > Credential Issuer > Settings
