Attach a card, localize and resolve
Step 3 of 4 in Design the issuer.
Update replaces the design's editable content. Send every render variant id and every locale you want to keep: attaching a card replaces the set rather than appending to it. Localized display falls back to the default locale wherever a translation is missing, so a partly translated design still renders.
Resolve returns the merged view: the design, its render variants, the applied source layers and the fields locked by authoritative layers. Check it rather than the raw record when a label does not appear where you expect.
For an imported design, refresh re-fetches the source conditionally and re-applies the mapper.
Delete an issuer design only after no credential design references it through issuerDesignId.
