The catalog lists each operation with its method, path, specification, access requirement and owning service. Use the operation id, not a UI label, as the handoff key between guides, Postman and integration code.

The specification is the contract the console renders with Scalar. Check required parameters, authentication, content type and documented responses before sending a request. A rendered reference is not an execution, and selecting a named example does not send it.
